Tibetan Yak Bone Prayer Mala

This antique-style 108 bead mala is made with naturally dyed yak bone beads that are inlaid with pieces of turquoise, coral, copper and brass.

A prayer bracelet is a strand of beads, traditionally used for counting during mantra meditations. Bone beads allow us to reflect upon the Buddhist teachings of impermanence.

All of these prayer beads have been collected and made locally according to the number of beads used traditionally by the Lamas and priest understandable in their proper manufacturing process for maximum spiritual benefit to the owner.

Mala measures approximately 25 inches around. Beads are about 0.5 inches wide. Made in Nepal.
